NewQOFcountdown now has the ability to list the names and details of patients in the register, numerator, denominator and negative indicator audit lines.
It is also possible to open a patient's clinical record directly from inside QOFcountdown.
QOFcountdown Features
This spreadsheet not only calculates the scores for each indicator and totals them, it also highlights underperforming lines and clinical areas to help you target your activity in the run up to QOF reckoning day on 1/4/08.

All clinical indicators have a page of analysis like these for CHD, CKD, AF, and Obesity.
Simply click on one of the Indicators displays as above, and a popup appears allowing you to fetch patient names corresponding to that Indicator. Probably the most useful one is to view the Negatives group, to enable you to target patients missing from the Numerator, but you may also opt to view patient names corresponding to Numerators, Denominators, or Registers, as well as Negatives. This feature is currently available for Monthly and Monitoring audits, and in 2008/09 it will alo be available for Interim audits.
After importing the names to the Lists page, you can then select a patient by clicking on their name in the List page, and then click a button to open that patient's record directly in Consultation Manager. (NB the data displayed below is dummy data and not real patient names and addresses).
There are financial summaries, and analyses of your prevalences in relation to national prevalences and the implications for your financial outcome. The spreadsheet also calculates holistic points.
One of the most helpful features are the graphical representations of your progress so far. These are broken down by clinical domain.
You may also view graphically the progress of any single Indicator of your choice.
There is also a graph of total clinical points progress.
And a graph of organisational points.
A further graph shows your total points progression.
There is a control panel with simple push buttons to make it easy to operate. The spreadsheet also comes with full instructions on use, in the form of a fully illustrated pdf manual.
There are some QOF points which Clinical Audit does not calculate for you and which you must claim manually. QOFcountdown also helps you to track these and calculate their financial value.
