Latest New Features

QOFcountdown now has the ability to

  • List the names and details of patients in the register, numerator, denominator and negative indicator audit lines
  • Open a patient's clinical record directly from inside QOFcountdown
  • Calculate and displays the financial value of the reminders attached to each patient

Shared Database Practices

A few practices work on the basis of shared Vision database between two or more practices, and Clinical Audit cannot separate the data between the different practices. QOFcountdown can help here because it CAN separate the data for the monthly and interim QMAS reports and give a practice-level analysis. And though it does not separate the totals for other reports such as daily reporting and monitoring, it can list the individual patient names by practice for any of these reports to help practices identify work to be done.

Practice National Code

This is usually in the format G23456 (one letter, followed by 5 numbers).

  • If you are in Northern Ireland the code usually starts Z00nnn.
  • If you are in Scotland the initial letter (often S or T) is sometimes dropped.
  • If you are in Wales the initial letter is usually W.
  • If you are not sure what your practice code is you can find it in "P:\GMS Contract" on your server.
