GRP8 error message
Article
In other affected practices, and likely also in yours, the GRP8 problem is due to a clash between Excel and the Borland Database Engine. This is used behind the scenes by several products such as CardioNavigator and others.
You can see if you have the Borland Database Engine installed by looking in C:\Program files\ or C:\Common Files\ to see if there are any folders with names like "Borland" or "BDE Install".
The solution is a small edit to your Windows registry on the affected workstation, or to use QOFcountdown on a different workstation which does not have the Borland Database Engine installed.
Please submit a ticket if this applies to you, and we will send you the fix.
